Research Chair for Healthy Aging

The general objective of the Chair for Healthy Aging is to promote healthy aging through exercise tailored to the needs of older adults, particularly with regard to their health condition. More specifically, the Chair supports innovative scientific research aimed at refining exercise recommendations and developing effective kinesiology interventions. The Chair also supports the training of highly qualified personnel to ensure the continuity and expansion of research in this field. This future workforce will also be able to engage in clinical settings to offer precision interventions based on scientific evidence, supporting healthy aging for future generations of older adults. Finally, the Chair is tasked with ensuring the mobilization of research outcomes to end users (health professionals, general public), particularly through the strong connection between the holders and the clinical environment.
