Taking action for prevention: The role of the kinesiologist in fall prevention for older adults

The training workshop is organized by the Research Chair on Healthy Aging - Jean-Luc Gravel and Brigitte Breton Foundation.

Learn more about falls: how to reduce the risk, the profile of at-risk individuals, the role of exercise in prevention, and more! You will also have the opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion on the topic (in-person only).


For whom?


The workshop is aimed at kinesiologists, kinesiology students, and all other health professionals interested in this topic.


Offered in a bimodal format:

  • Virtual (via Microsoft Teams)


Schedule at a glance:


Three 45-minute lectures will provide you with more knowledge about falls in seniors. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to discuss this issue in a roundtable with the speakers. Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be graciously provided by the research chair.
